Born in Alameda, California, Diane, also known as Diana, has lived and traveled throughout the US, Russia, the Caucasus, Turkey, Japan and Europe. Presently based in Sansepolcro, Tuscany, she continues to travel, documenting in photographs, poetry, essays and fiction the world “here and elsewhere” and our reactions to it.
Her university education focused on Russian Language and Literature, with graduate research and life-long study in theater and the visual arts.
Also, Diane has performed in theater and cabaret productions in addition to directing plays.
